How To Make Bison Meatloaf Recipe

Delicious meatloaf made with lean bison meat.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground bison
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced green pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a large bowl, combine bison, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, green pepper, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Mix until well combined and shape into a loaf.

  4. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.

  5. Spread the ketchup mixture over the top of the meatloaf.

  6. Bake in preheated oven for 60-65 minutes, until cooked through.

  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
