How To Make Millet and Spinach Fritters
These crispy fritters are made with millet and fresh spinach and make for a perfect snack.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked millet
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup chickpea flour
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine cooked millet, chopped spinach, chickpea flour, onion, garlic, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and pepper.

Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined and the mixture is a nice and sticky texture.

Heat some oil in a frying pan on medium heat.

Using your hands, form small patties from the mixture and place them in the hot oil.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Once done, drain the fritters on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Serve hot with your favourite dipping sauce.
