How To Make Bulgur Breakfast Bowl Recipe
A hearty and wholesome breakfast bowl made with bulgur, veggies, and eggs.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup of bulgur
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tsp of salt
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp of cumin powder
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 4 eggs
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- Fresh cilantro, chopped
Instructions

In a saucepan, bring water, bulgur, and salt to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, red bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté for 5 minutes.

Add cumin powder and paprika to the skillet. Stir to coat the veggies.

Add cooked bulgur to the skillet and mix everything together.

Make 4 wells in the bulgur mixture and crack an egg in each well.

Cover the skillet and let the eggs cook for 5-7 minutes or until they are cooked to your liking.

Divide the bulgur mixture and eggs between four bowls.

Serve with sliced avocado, lime wedges, and chopped cilantro.
