How To Make Bulgur and Lentil Stew Recipe
A hearty and healthy stew made with bulgur wheat and lentils.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup of bulgur wheat
- 1 cup of red lentils
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 carrot, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 4 cups of vegetable broth or water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, tomato, and carrot. Cook for about 5 minutes or until onion is translucent.

Add cumin powder and paprika and stir well.

Add bulgur wheat, red lentils, and vegetable broth or water. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 20-25 minutes or until bulgur and lentils are cooked.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
