Ingredients
- 1.5 kg potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 200g bacon, cooked and chopped
- 200g Gruyere cheese, grated
- 200g Cheddar cheese, grated
- 200g Emmental cheese, grated
- 500ml heavy cream
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes.

Sprinkle half of the cooked bacon and a third of each cheese over the potatoes.

Repeat with another layer of potatoes, bacon, and cheese.

In a saucepan, heat the cream, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until hot but not boiling.

Pour the hot cream mixture over the potatoes, making sure they are fully covered.

Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbling.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
