- Turkey drippings from roasted turkey
- 1 cup chestnuts, roasted and peeled
- 4 cups turkey or chicken broth
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to create a roux.
