- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

In a small bowl, combine chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if desired).

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the seasoning mixture. Toast the spices for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
