Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) of pumpkin puree
  • 1 can (15 oz) of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of tahini
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
  • salt, to taste
  • olive oil, for drizzling

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the pumpkin puree, chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, and salt.

  2. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.

  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

  4. Transfer the hummus to a serving dish and drizzle with olive oil.

  5. Serve with pita bread or fresh vegetables.
