How To Make Plum Chutney

Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh plums, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions

In a large saucepan, combine plums, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, onion, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and black pepper.

Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes, or until plums have softened and mixture has thickened.

Remove from heat and let cool completely. Transfer to a jar or container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
