- 1 pound fresh green beans, ends trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes, until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the cooked green beans to the skillet and sprinkle with dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat the beans in the herb mixture.
