How To Make Sunflower Seed and Quinoa Pilaf Recipe
A flavorful and healthy pilaf recipe made with quinoa and sunflower seeds.

Ingredients
- 1 cup quinoa, rinsed and drained
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until soft and fragrant.

Add the quinoa and sauté for 2-3 minutes.

Pour in the broth and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and add sunflower seeds.

Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes, or until quinoa is cooked.

Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.

Fluff with fork and serve.
