Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter or oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

In a bowl, mix together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, and melted butter/oil.

Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

Pour batter into a greased 9-inch baking pan or cast iron skillet.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
