This savory stuffing is made with hearty rye bread and crispy bacon.

Ingredients
- 6 slices rye bread, cubed
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery ribs, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.

Add onion, celery, and garlic to the same skillet and cook until softened.

In a large bowl, mix together bread cubes, cooked bacon, onion mixture, thyme, and black pepper.

In another bowl, whisk together chicken broth and beaten egg.

Pour chicken broth mixture over bread mixture and toss to combine.

Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
