How To Make Cornbread and Sausage Dressing Recipe
Traditional stuffing with a twist of cornbread and sausage.

Ingredients
- 4 cups cornbread, crumbled
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1/2 tsp sage
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 2 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a skillet, cook sausage until browned. Drain and set aside.

In the same skillet, cook celery, onion, and garlic in butter until softened.

Add poultry seasoning, sage, and thyme. Cook for 1-2 minutes.

In a large bowl, mix together crumbled cornbread, sausage, and vegetable mixture.

Slowly add chicken broth, mixing until mixture is moistened.

Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.

Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown on top.
