Ingredients
- 4 cups cubed bread
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup diced apple
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 2-quart baking dish.

In a large bowl, mix together bread cubes, onion, celery, apple, and raisins.

In a frying pan over medium heat, melt butter. Add sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 1 minute.

Pour butter mixture over bread mixture. Mix well.

Add chicken broth and mix until all bread cubes are moistened.
