How To Make Lentil and Quinoa Burgers

A vegan and gluten-free burger patty made with nutritious lentils and quinoa.

Preparation: 20 minutes
Cooking: 25 minutes
Total: 45 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients until well combined.

  3. Form mixture into 4 equal sized patties.

  4. Place patties on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.

  5. Flip patties over and bake for another 10 minutes.

  6. Serve on a bun with your favorite toppings.
