How To Make Creepy Cauldron Soup Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained (15 oz)
  • 1 can kidney beans, rinsed and drained (15 oz)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 package frozen spinach (10 oz)
  • 1 can black olives, sliced (6 oz)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • Red food coloring
  • Witch hat shaped chips for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, sauté onion and garlic until soft.

  2. Add chicken broth, diced tomatoes, and herbs. Bring to a boil.

  3. Add black beans, kidney beans, salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes.

  4. Add spinach and olives. Cook for another 10 minutes.

  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream. Add a few drops of red food coloring to create a “bloody” effect.

  6. Serve hot in a cauldron with witch hat shaped chips.
