How To Make Mummy Sugar Cookies Recipe
Delicious and spooky mummy sugar cookies, perfect for Halloween!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 oz white chocolate, melted
- 24 candy eyes
Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla extract.

Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.

Shape dough into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll dough into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Allow to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Drizzle melted white chocolate over the cooled cookies to resemble mummy bandages and top with candy eyes. Allow chocolate to set before serving.
