A comforting dessert made with leftover hot cross buns and custard, perfect for Easter brunch or any occasion.

Ingredients
- 4 leftover hot cross buns
- 2 cups milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup raisins
- Pinch of salt
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).

Slice the hot cross buns in half and place the halves in a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, raisins, and salt.

Pour the custard mixture over the hot cross bun halves, making sure each piece is coated.
