A delicious sweet bread infused with cardamom and perfect for Easter brunch.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 ½ tsp active dry yeast
- ½ tsp salt
- ¾. Mix well.

In a small saucepan, heat milk and butter until butter is melted. Add to flour mixture.

Add egg and mix well, then knead for 4-5 minutes until dough is smooth and elastic.

Fold in raisins and let dough rest in a warm place for 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll dough into a circular shape and place onto baking sheet. Brush with egg wash.

Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden-brown. Let cool before slicing and serving.
