How To Make Churros with Chocolate Dipping Sauce
Crispy fried dough coated with cinnamon sugar, served with a rich and creamy chocolate dipping sauce.

Ingredients
- For the churros:
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1/4 cup sugar, for coating
- 1 tsp cinnamon, for coating
- For the chocolate dipping sauce:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, combine the water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

Remove from heat and stir in the flour and cinnamon until the mixture forms a ball.

Heat the oil for frying in a deep fryer or deep skillet to 375°F.

Add the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.

Squeeze 4-6 inch lengths of dough into the hot oil, cutting them off with a pair of scissors.

Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Drain on paper towels and immediately roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

For the chocolate dipping sauce, heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until just boiling.

Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips and vanilla extract until smooth.

Serve the hot churros with the warm chocolate dipping sauce.
