- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound Andouille sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small head cabbage, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sausage and onions and cook until the sausage is browned and the onions are softened.
- Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in the cabbage, salt, and pepper, and sauté for 5 minutes until the cabbage is wilted.
- Pour in the chicken broth, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Serve hot.
