Ingredients
- 4 large Russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of heavy cream
- 4 tbsp of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste

In a large pot, cover the cubed potatoes with cold water and add 1 tbsp of salt.

Bring the water to a boil, then lower the heat to a simmer and cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes or until they are fork-tender.

Drain the water from the potatoes and add the butter, milk, and heavy cream.

Use a potato masher or hand mixer to mash the potatoes until they are creamy and fluffy.
