How To Make Salt-baked Potatoes

Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes
- 4 cups of coarse sea salt
- 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
- 4 cloves of garlic
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Scrub the potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.

Using a fork, pierce the potatoes all over to allow steam to escape during baking.

Spread a layer of coarse sea salt on the bottom of a baking dish or pan.

Place the potatoes on top of the salt, ensuring that they are evenly spaced.

Insert a sprig of rosemary and a clove of garlic into each potato.

Cover the potatoes completely with the remaining sea salt, packing it tightly around them.

Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until they are tender when pierced with a fork.

Remove the potatoes from the oven and allow them to cool for 10 minutes.

Use a knife to crack the salt crust and carefully remove the potatoes.
