Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups milk
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter

In a large pot, combine the milk and bay leaves. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.

Add the sliced potatoes, salt, and pepper to the pot. Stir well to coat the potatoes.

Cook the potatoes in the milk mixture for about 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and easily pierced with a fork.

Once cooked, remove the bay leaves and drain any excess milk.
