Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 ham, bone-in (about 4 pounds)
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
-
Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan and score the surface in a diamond pattern.
-
In a saucepan, combine the pomegranate juice, orange juice, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has thickened slightly.
-
Generously brush the glaze over the ham, reserving some for basting.
-
Roast the ham in the preheated oven for about 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the remaining glaze.
-
Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
-
Serve the spiced pomegranate & orange glazed ham warm with the pan juices as a sauce.
