How To Make Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Recipe
This deliciously tender pulled pork is slow-cooked to perfection, and has a flavor that’s out of this world!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork shoulder, trimmed of excess fat
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions

Combine chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Rub the mixture all over the pork shoulder.

Place sliced onions and minced garlic into a slow cooker.

Place the seasoned pork shoulder on top of the onions and garlic.

In a separate bowl, mix together apple cider vinegar, ketchup, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, and water. Pour the mixture over the pork.

Cook on low for 8 hours.

When the pork is done, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.

Serve hot on buns with your favorite toppings.
