Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork shoulder, boneless
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 4 hamburger buns, for serving
Instructions

Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker.

In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

Pour the maple-mustard sauce over the pork shoulder, making sure it is evenly coated.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 8 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.

Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir it into the remaining sauce.
