- 1 small head of red cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
- 1 bay leaf
Instructions

In a large saucepan, combine the white vinegar, apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, salt, peppercorns, and bay leaf. Bring to a boil.

Add the sliced red cabbage to the boiling liquid and cook for 2 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from heat and let the cabbage cool in the liquid.

Once cooled, transfer the pickled cabbage and the liquid into a jar or container with a tight-fitting lid.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to allow the flavors to develop.
