Ingredients
- 1 cup besan (gram flour)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 medium potato, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup spinach leaves, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

In a bowl, mix besan, water, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and salt to make a smooth batter.

Add sliced onions, potatoes, spinach, and cilantro to the batter. Mix well to coat the vegetables with the batter.

Drop spoonfuls of the vegetable-batter mixture into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.

Remove the pakoras from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
