Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh green beans
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Trim the ends off the green beans and cut them in half.

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 2 minutes.

Add the green beans to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pour in the chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper.

Bring the mixture to a simmer and cover. Cook for 10 minutes, or until the green beans are tender.

Remove the cover and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced slightly.

Serve the green beans topped with the cooked bacon.
