How To Make Ground Turkey Stuffed Peppers Recipe
Juicy bell peppers stuffed with flavorful ground turkey mixture, baked until tender and topped with melted cheese!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 bell peppers, tops removed and seeds discarded
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until no longer pink.

Add diced onions and minced garlic to the pan and sauté until soft.

Stir in the cooked rice, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.

Stuff each bell pepper with the turkey mixture and place in a baking dish.

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Remove foil and sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each pepper.

Bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and peppers are tender.

Serve hot and enjoy!
