  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the ground turkey, onion, green bell pepper, and garlic, and cook until the turkey is browned and the vegetables are tender.

  3. Add the ketchup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and stir to combine.

  4. Reduce the heat to medium-low and let cook for 10 more minutes.

  5. Serve on hamburger buns.
