How To Make Taiwanese Stir-Fry Vermicelli (Tshá Bí-Hún)

Ingredients
- 200g vermicelli noodles
- 250g chicken breast, sliced
- 1 cup cabbage, shredded
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions

Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add the chicken slices and cook until they are no longer pink.

Add the shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.

Add the cooked vermicelli noodles to the wok and toss well with the vegetables.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour over the noodle mixture and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated.

Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
