Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/4 cup minced shrimp
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 32 wonton wrappers
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups baby bok choy, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, minced shrimp, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.

  2. Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, and fold diagonally to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.

  3. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add wontons and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface.

  4. Add baby bok choy and simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the bok choy is tender.

  5. Ladle the wontons and broth into serving bowls. Garnish with chopped cilantro.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
