  • 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cups potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from the pot and set aside.

  2. In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until the onion is translucent.

  3. Add the chicken broth and potatoes to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender.

  4. Return the cooked sausage to the pot and stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
