Ingredients
- 1 lb firm white fish fillets, skin removed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 lb potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Cut the fish into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Gradually pour in the chicken broth, whisking constantly to prevent lumps.

Add the potatoes, bring to a simmer, and cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.

Add the fish and cream to the pot, and simmer gently until the fish is cooked through, about 10 minutes.
