How To Make Fish and Herb Chowder Recipe
A creamy fish soup filled with fresh herbs and vegetables.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 cups fish stock
- 1 lb white fish, cut into bite sized pieces
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions

Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.

Add potatoes and fish stock, bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer.

Add white fish and cook until opaque, approximately 5-7 minutes.

Stir in heavy cream, thyme, rosemary, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Simmer for 10 minutes until the soup is heated through and flavors are well combined.

Serve hot with crusty bread.
