Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp flour
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 4 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 cans chopped clams, drained
- 4 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened.

Sprinkle flour over onion mixture and stir until combined.

Gradually whisk in chicken broth and half-and-half, stirring constantly until smooth.

Add chopped potatoes and bring chowder to a simmer.

Cook until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Stir in chopped clams and fresh spinach, cook until spinach is wilted.
