Ingredients
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a slow cooker, combine black beans, onion, garlic, carrots, celery, red bell pepper, jalapeño pepper, vegetable broth, cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper.

Cook on high for 6 hours or on low for 8 hours.
