How To Make Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape the mixture into 4 oval-shaped patties.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook until browned on both sides, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer the patties to the slow cooker.

In the same skillet, add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture, about 5 minutes. Transfer the mushrooms to the slow cooker, arranging them around the patties.

In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Pour the mixture over the patties and mushrooms in the slow cooker.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the patties are cooked through.

Serve the Salisbury steaks with the mushroom gravy spooned over the top. Garnish with fresh parsley.
