How To Make Slow Cooker Baby Back Ribs Recipe

Hot stews and pot roasts are just some of the deletcable meals you get out of a slow cooker. It takes a bit of patience but it’s worth every meat-melting bite. You’ll enjoy the cooking as well as the eating with these slow cooker recipes.

Ingredients

  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1 cup of barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp of paprika
  • 1 tbsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs by loosening it with a knife and pulling it away.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Rub the spice mixture all over both sides of the ribs.

  4. Place the ribs in the slow cooker, standing them up with the meat side facing out.

  5. Pour the barbecue sauce over the ribs, making sure to coat them evenly.

  6. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone easily.

  7. Once cooked, carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet.

  8. Brush the ribs with more barbecue sauce and broil them in the oven for 5-7 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

  9. Serve the ribs hot with extra barbecue sauce on the side.
