How To Make Almond Black Rice
A simple yet delicious bowl of antioxidants and fiber, this almond black rice is simmered in chicken bouillon and butter-toasted almonds for a tastier side.

- 2tbspbutter
- 1cupblack rice
- ¼cuponion,diced
- ¼cupalmonds,slivered
- 1¾cupswater
- 1chicken bouillon cube
Instructions

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat then add the black rice, onion, and almonds. Cook and stir for about 5 to 10 minutes until lightly toasted.

Add the water and bouillon cube, then bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, then cover.
