How To Make Steamed Salmon & Veg Rice Bowl

Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions

Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Place them in a heatproof dish and set aside.

Rinse the jasmine rice until the water runs clear. In a rice cooker or a pot, combine the rinsed rice and water. Cook according to package instructions.

In a steamer basket, add the broccoli florets, bell peppers, and carrots. Steam for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.

While the vegetables are steaming, prepare the steaming liquid. In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes.

Pour the steaming liquid over the salmon fillets. Place the heatproof dish in a steamer and steam for about 10-12 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.

Once the rice and vegetables are cooked, divide them into 4 bowls. Top each bowl with a steamed salmon fillet.

Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
