Ingredients
- 1 lb prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp Sichuan peppercorns
- 2 tbsp chili bean paste
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.

Add minced garlic, ginger, and Sichuan peppercorns. Stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add chili bean paste and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Add prawns to the wok and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.

Stir in soy sauce, sugar, and chicken broth. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Garnish with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro.

Serve the spicy Sichuan-style prawns hot with steamed rice or noodles.
