Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups cooked rice
Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the white wine, chicken broth, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes.

Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.

Season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

Serve the shrimp scampi over cooked rice.
