  • 8 ounces spaghetti noodles
  • 1 can sardines in oil
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the oil from the can of sardines over medium heat.

  3. Add the sardines to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes, breaking them up with a spoon.

  4. Add the salsa to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

  5. Add the cooked spaghetti noodles to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the salsa and sardine mixture.

  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until heated through.

  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
