- 8 ounces fresh salmon fillet, finely diced
- 1 small apple, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 2 tablespoons gherkins, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a bowl, combine the diced salmon, apple, dill, gherkins, red onion, capers, lemon juice, and olive oil.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Gently mix everything together until well combined.

Divide the salmon mixture into 4 portions and shape them into neat rounds using a ring mold or your hands.

Serve the salmon tartare chilled, garnished with extra dill sprigs and lemon wedges if desired.
