Ingredients
- 500g prawns, cleaned and deveined
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions

Heat coconut oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and fennel seeds.

Once they start spluttering, add chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until onions turn golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.

Add cleaned prawns and salt. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Pour coconut milk and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
