How To Make Leek & Prawn Gratin

Ingredients
- 2 leeks, sliced
- 250g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the leeks and garlic and sauté until soft.

Add the prawns to the pan and cook until they turn pink.

Season with salt and pepper, then add the heavy cream. Stir to combine and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with the grated Gruyere cheese.

In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with a tablespoon of melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the top of the dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and the gratin is bubbling.
